Journey to Self
After graduating high school, I had no idea where I wanted to focus my attention. I made some mobile games, helped launch a few satellites, became a chef for a year, and performed in several musicals. These experiences eventually became my path to design.
I got my first degree in computer science by studying object oriented principles in Java, C++, and Python. This foundation has helped me easily understand new technology and work with developers.
At the University of Central Florida, I got a variety of opportunities to study print, web, mobile, and emerging mediums(XR). Most of the curriculum consisted of collaborative semester-long exploratory projects.
Melanin Motions is a studio I formed with a group of friends and investors at the start of the COVID Pandemic. Our goal was to give colored entertainment workers a stronger voice in the community, which we strived for in the 6 commercials we produced.
When I first moved to Central Florida, I started working for a company dedicated to growing artists. The startup needed extensive branding and strategic planning to get off the ground and organize. After I put in some intense effort, the company's main product is to manage artist's web3 presence.
The past few years have taught me how to handle unexpected challenges and grow businesses through hardship. My future involves bridging technical and artistic groups while collaborating with talented teams.
